So, I got hacked.
Yes, it sucks but, thanks to Drak Net, all’s not lost and I’ve been granted the choice to let it die, resurrect it, or start fresh. (Thank you Drak!)
Obviously, I chose to keep a site, but with all the changes that’ve been happening in my life, a fresh start seems apropos.
So, I’ve chosen to go with the standard issue wordpress theme (WordPress is just too easy to give up on it and the standard theme’ll likely get good support for some time to come) and to use a 3rd party photo management tool.I’ll also have to start paying attention to security and other important issues I’d let slide.
Content-wise, I’ve tried a couple of different tacks with this site over the years, but the one that’s been most useful and enjoyable for me has been using it as a forum for sharing my life with friends and family. That in mind, I s’pose I’ll keep some of the old content like my poetry and maybe some Tarot material, and my photos, of course, but opening up other areas of my life might be fun too.
‘What’ and ‘how’ I’ll share it is unclear to me right now, but whatever I end up posting, it’ll likely reflect some of the wonder and beauty I see in the world around me.
Matter of fact, the more I think about it, the more I’m tempted to see this as a great oportunity and to be excited by the posibilities!
So, over the next few weeks this site will be changing. I’ll be adding content, playing with ideas, and overcoming obstacles. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and I hope you’ll join me as I figure out what my world is all about…
