WebMaster’s Report – September 17, 2010

Day 2 without a computer. Withdrawls are setting in – anxiety building. Technician took my pc last night and seems confident he’ll have it fixed by this evening but must survive the day… gasp!

A little dramatic? Maybe. But, I’ve got about 10 years of my life on that drive and no funds to replace it if any hardware’s toasted so I have to hope it’s a software issue and that he’ll get it up and running before I have to do the report for the board this month. More importantly, maybe, I have to hope he saves my programs and the passwords associated with them.

Note to selfs: get hard copies of passwords and store them at a friend’s house. Sigh.

Anyways, with the computer down I had time to think about the fact this site got fried and to consider what I want to do with it when I’m back online. Thinking I’m not all that interested or stressed about keeping the majority of the information I had here. Will probably keep…

* something about Tarot and the esoteric

* my poetry and any creative writing worth sharing

* a space for arts and crafts like my knitting and beading

* space for diet and health like recipes and bits I pick up about yoga and exercise

* my photos – will likely sort and post only a sampling tho – at last count I’ve got over 7000 so I’m not posting them all!

* a day to day journalling space and one where I can write about the world at large

* a spot for spirituality including meditation, the Secret, and beliefs

The only new thing that came to mind was to begin a list for books and websites I find useful to share with others.
