Meave, the queen of all things fey
from her beauty hide away
for though to catch her wins a kiss
’tis a deadly sort of bliss
bathed in moonlight ‘neath her tree
he who sees her cursed be
none on life is half as fair
as she with fiery copper hair
eyes of azure lips of red
he would have her to his bed
and with the dawning he shall die
would give his life with her to lie
so hide your eyes and turn away
else ne’er again see light of day
